Cut your own waste table Raw and Extended XL

Instead of buying a waste table from us you can make your own. We prefere 12mm Valchoromat but regular 12mm MDF will also work.

Extended model
The Extended table is cut in 3 pieces. The larger Extended XL (130x180cm) is big enough to cut one piece at the time, you can even cut half the table at once, but the files provided it in 3 pieces. Place a board on to the frame as a temporary table. Cut an MDF or Valchromat piece by hand in the size of 650x1200mm and fasten it to your temporary table. Start from the left corner and make sure it won’t hit the clamps or screws you use to fasten the piece. Do a dry run in the air to make sure it covers the whole piece.

Raw 1.5 standard model
For the smaller machines 100x100cm you need to manually cut a 1x 940x990mm and 12mm thick MDF or Valchromat board and put it in place. We will cut the table before we fasten it. Have another board underneath as a distance so that you don’t cut in to the actual frame. Make sure to fasten the pieces so that they don’t move while cutting. Make sure that the machine is as far left and to the front as possible (Home the machine) and start cutting the file provided. The program will cut all the holes it can reach. You won’t be able to cut holes close to the left or right, but this can be done by hand afterwards. Do a dry run in the air to make sure it covers the whole piece.

The table has big holes so that you can create clamps from 4mm steel 20x120mm for example. Drill a hole trought the steel bar and slide in a M8 carriage bolt, washer and wingnut.
You can also buy the clamps from us, they are avalible at our store. The carriage bold has a square under the head that will fixate the screw while you tighten the wingnut.

Raw 1.5 Creative
Raw Creative has a smaller table of 985x690mm. Cut out a board in these dimensions and follow the instructions above for the Raw 1.5 standard models.
